I am almost close to my 3 day weekend!!!! I attempted to go running in the clubhouse but there is a man on it so I must wait. My plan today is to run off all the burgers and junk food that I failed to talk about in my last post. Read about Organizational Behavior while running to prepare for my quiz then take my quiz at noon. At 2 pm, drive to Salem and pray to the good lord that I do not get pulled over for my tail lights. Go to my interview and hopefully land a Summer job. Because as of right now MECOP is all screwed up and there are less positions than applicants; but they told us it was the opposite when we first interviewed. Then today it is going to be a CRAM session of BA 396....fun times cannot wait to complete them! Well, I am off to go scope out the mill and run my tater off.

So I ran for 3 minutes straight!!!! I am so proud of myself and although this is just a small milestone I know that it is helping me. Even though I have only ran 7 times since I started this app 2 weeks ago I feel better already. I have dropped a pant size and lost about 3 pounds (that was last Tuesday it maybe less despite those damn burgers). But the feeling of knowing that I am doing something good for my body makes me so happy. I never want to go back to where I use to be. I think that the other deep dark part of why I am doing this is because I have the baby bug. When I looked at myself weeks ago, I realized that if I was in the next couple years going to have a child that I had to get in shape. That I would only gain more weight during pregnancy and from what I have heard from numerous people is that its not easy to get it off. Well I better get back to the boring life of a college student and start studying although I don't want to!

My legs are killing me....I want to just cut them off and turn them in for new ones. I just really wish that these shin splints would go away. I think that on Friday if it is not better than I will go to the doctor. I have tried everything from icing to not running but nothing is working. I think the fact that I cannot elevate or ice it ever is the issue. It is not like I can elevate my leg at the desk or ice it. I attempted to wrap the ice package in a towel around my leg but that did not work :( Alright back to studying BLAHHHHH
